This colorful bridge tower( Tortum ) is part of the medieval city ​​fortifications of Regensburg. This gate tower from the 13/14 Centuries stands at the southern end of the Old Stone Bridge over the Danube River, built in the 12th century. To the west stands the municipal salt barn built in 1620 and to the east is the Amberger barn, built between 1487 and1551 .
