C. L. Moody, a graduate of the Uni- versity of Maine, has succeeded Max Geisler in charge of trees and shrubs at the Missouri Botanical Garden. Mr. Geisler has been appointed research as- sistant in the United States forestry service at the Utah experiment station. Visitors last week were Hugo Busch, of Jefferson City, Mo.; Gust Grossart, W.
