The genus Phlebozemia has the followingautapomorphies: The loss of vein 4 in both thefore and hind wing, strongly sclerotic entirebasal edge of valva (with a crown-shaped, den-tate labis). Strongly sclerotic, in middle well di-lated sacculus, and a short, semioval disc of val-va. Gradually curved aedeagus. Ductus bursaewith a short, cup-shaped colliculum, below thishyaline for a stretch.
