Peninsula of Ardamurchan, Scotland. Artistic view of the 1849 Alan Stevenson designed Ardnamurchan Lighthouse at Ardnamurchan Point. The lighthouse is reputedly situated at the most westerly point of the UK mainland, and although automated in 1988, it is still fully operational. This photograph has been produced by merging three differently exposed images of the same scene. All of which were captured at approximately the same time - on a tripod mounted camera – and digitally processed to produce the resulting artistic rendition of the scene.
