Several visitors line up to access the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. 2022 is once again the Holy Year of Compostela, an extension of 2021 by order of the Pope, number 120 in History, and Santiago de Compostela was declared the spiritual capital of the world. This year the Galician authorities report an intense activity related to tourism in Santiago de Compostela and they fear that the order of the city will get out of control. Thousands of pilgrims and visitors arrive this year to the city of the Apostle Santiago.
