The Chief Minister of Gibraltar Fabian Picardo today announced that the new National Art Gallery, to be located at the City Hall, is to be named after local painter Mario Finlayson. The surprise announcement was made during the launch of a retrospective art exhibition at the Gustavo Bacarisa Gallery at Casemates Square as a tribute to the local painter Mario Finlayson.
