YOKOSUKA, Japan (Jan. 11, 2018) - Hospital Corpsman 3rd Class Amanda Eakin, from Newville, Pa., attached to the 7th Fleet Flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), explains the importance of the aft battle dress station during stretcher bearer training. Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
