Figure 32844 is a beautiful Banner Stone, found in the Township of is made of dark green striped slate. The ends come to a rounded point. Theusual perforation in the centre is bored in the orthodox way. On the side shownin the photo-engravure there is an elevated bridge extending across the stone;the other side is smooth and rounded. The orifice is % of an inch on the convexside and 9-16 of an inch on the concave side. Stones of this kind show an amountof skill in their manufacture that is truly wonderful.
