I have also seen white persons withkeloid development in every minor injury of the skin, and in scars follow-ing clean operations. I have in mind several instances in which keloid 2l8 PLASTIC SURGERY developed in a portion of a clean appendix scar, while the rest of thescar remained soft, fiat, and pliable.
