Old half timbered cottages punctuate the landscape of Eardisland, Herefordshire. Eardisland is a picturesque village in Herefordshire, including a 13th century church and black and white half timbered cottages typical of old Herefordshire. The village is bisected by the River Arrow that skirts the Dovecote and community shop, the moat of the castle motte. There is a tea room, pub, and a restored original AA telephone box. The nearby main road is part of the Roman Watling Street.
