James Justen, a Mooresville, North Carolina native and a scout sniper assigned to Weapons Company, 2d Battalion, 2d Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, launches a Small Unmanned Aircraft System (SUAS) during a reconnaissance and surveillance field exercise on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Oct. 5, 2022. The reconnaissance and surveillance exercise was conducted in order to prepare teams for the Battle Field Exercise Team Leader Evaluation and increase platform interoperability.
