MINNEAPOLIS, MN (July 21, 2017) An Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, attached to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group (EODGRU) 1, interacts with children at the Minneapolis Zoo as part of this year’s 2017 Navy Week. Sponsored by Navy Office of Community Outreach (NAVCO). Navy Weeks are a week-long schedule of community outreach engagements that connect Americans with their Navy by bringing Navy Sailors, equipment and displays to approximately 16 American cities that do not enjoy a significant Navy presence.
