A German knightly riding sword, circa 1600. Sturdy, double-edged, slightly shortened blade. The ricasso fullered twice on both sides. A Passau wolf struck on one side, the opposite side with a coat of arms between monogram(?) heavily worn by cleaning. Widely extending quillons of octagonal section with large ring guards on both sides. Grip with later iron wire winding and Turk's heads.
