Gary Keefe, the 104FW Vice Commander Col. David ‘Moon’ Halasi-Kun, Westfield Mayor Donald Humason, and state and local leaders. Col. David 'Moon' Halasi-Kun opened the ceremony and thanked those that made this joint effort possible. The Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport, Barnes Air National Guard Base is home to 104th Fighter Wing, the regional airport, Army Aviation Support Facility #2, and a Gulfstream facility. The project was funded by a $ million allocation from the Commonwealth’s 2014 Military Bond Bill authorization.
