In the north Chancel aisle or chantry, and immediatelyfrontmg the antient altar, is the burial place of the Takels. On a largestone is this inscription:— Dir jaret f oljana (CaUfl luDiia, qiu obitt ni liif 3n annoDonuni , nuus atr propiaftur 3?fu5. 2tn. John Takel, says Pole, a man well leained in the law, dwelled herein King Henry YII time, whose only daughter was the first wife of BaldwinMallett, Solicitor unto King Henry VI
