Skin greenish yellow, spotted on the sunny side with violet and crimson. Flesh firm, adhering to the stone. The tree is of vigorous habit, and has proved well suited to the middle ;— Rural Reg. Imperial Gage, (Prince's Imperial.) (Fig. 133.) " This is a seedling from the Green Gage, raised by the late Mr. Prince, of Flushing, New York, and has received much praise.
