It is best to sow on ground that has been well manured the previous year for some other crop, such as Celery, Pota- toes, Onions or Peas, but avoiding such crops as Cabbage or Turnips, or any of the tap-rooted sec- tion. For early and main crops sow the latter part of April; for later crops they may be sown any time until the beginning of June.
