CALIFORNIA PEPPERS (Page 120) Blanche Lea Wright CAREFULLY draw in design then paint in the darkestleaves with Shading Green, Brown Green and a touchof Black with shading in the very deepest tones. The lighterleaves are Moss Green, Yellow Green. The very lightestleaves are Lemon Yellow and Apple Green. The darkestberries are Blood Red and a little Ruby. The lighter berriesare Carnation and Blood Red. The stems are Moss Greenshaded with Violet and Apple Green. Second Firing—Wash background
