It is, however, possible to see that the top, the left & the right guard of the tapestry have been removed on GCPA 0243528. This points to the fact that this photograph (GCPA 0243528) was taken after the alterations were performed. It may also explain the discrepancy in dimensions noted by Cavallo (Soustelle).
