First Instar Larva Length, 4 mm. Head width, mm. Width of body through 5th abdominal segment, mm. The head is markedly bilobed. Its color is orange-yellow. The ocelli are black. See Fig. 1 B. The first two thoracic segments taper outwardly toward the head and the caudal segments widen to mm. The body is translucent, and soiled yellow in color. There is a faint suggestion of a middorsal longitudinal paired gray stripe, shaded a lighter gray internally. The caudal area is orange-yellow.
