NEWPORT, (Sept. 29, 2017) Rear Adm. Jeffrey A. Harley, president, Naval War College, gives remarks during a commemorative Army-Navy baseball game from the 1917 time frame. The game took place at Cardines Field in Newport following a re-dedication ceremony of the field to Army Pvt. Bernardo Cardines, Newport’s first resident to die in World War I. The game ended with Navy winning, 13 to 7.
