Central Asiatic Expeditions (1921-1930); Scientific expeditions; Natural history; Scientific expeditions; Natural history. 1928] MULTITUBERCULATES FROM MONGOLIA cusp row consisting of four cusps, the second and third the longest, their bases united internally, apices along the internal margin, the posterior three somewhat pro- duced into crests which run anteroexternally. In addition to the type, there are several fragments of teeth apparently of this genus. One (A. M. No. 21715) is the anterior end of a first lower molar, perhaps of the left side. It indicates a width for this tooth of seven or eight millimeters. The cusps are in two rows and are simple, without secondary ridging or grooving, and like those of M^ are produced into obhque crests, those of the external row. Please note that these images are extracted from scanned page images that may have been digitally enhanced for readability - coloration and appearance of these illustrations may not perfectly resemble the original Central Asiatic Expeditions (1921-1930); Andrews, Roy Chapman, 1884-1960; Matthew, William Diller, 1871-1930.
