Soldiers assigned to the 253rd Engineering Battalion, 158th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, practice archery at the Cherokee Heritage Center in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, April 27, 2021. While working the Innovative Readiness Training’s Cherokee Veterans Housing Initiative, servicemembers were invited to the heritage center to learn more about the culture, and were given the opportunity to experience the history, language, games and traditions of the Cherokee Nation.
