The River Brittle runs down through Glen Brittle creating a series of waterfalls and crystal clear blue pools popular with wild swimmers and tourists alike. Because of their size and the water colour these pools are known as the Fairy Pools. Behind this pool is the imposing pinnacle of Bruach na Frithe with the start of the Cullins in the far distance.
