Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, UK. 11th January 2014. Participants dressed in colourful costumes take part in the traditional Straw Bear Festival at the Fenland town of Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire UK. Around 250 musicians and dancers from Molly and Morris groups from around the UK follow the Bear in a procession through the town. The ancient tradition of dressing a man in a 5 stone costume made of Straw and parading though the town with his keeper was revived in the 1980's in the Fenland town and takes place on the second weekend in January.
