A German carved powder horn, circa 1750 Flattened cowhorn, finely engraved on both sides. The front side with coat of arms under "G V G". Next to it a hunting scene with boar and long inscription (tr.) "As long as I shall hold this coat of arms. A faithful friend shall always feel a faithful heart.". The reverse side with a sitting figure in an antique costume amid trophies. The bottom with an inserted bone plate and engraved, erotic depiction.
