A fresh blanket of snow and frigid subzero temperatures surround the air traffic control tower at the Sioux City, Iowa, airport, home of the 185th Air Refueling Wing, Iowa Air National Guard, as a supermoon sets just before sunrise Feb. 19, 2019. The February supermoon is the second of three in 2019. A supermoon happens when a full moon is also at its closest orbit to Earth. The effect makes the moon appear larger and significantly brighter than normal. ( Air National Guard photo by Senior Master Sgt. Vincent De Groot)
