It Is sown in the spring or fall. Unless it is intended for seed, it should be cut before fully ripe. Product from thirty to fifty bushels pei- acre. Bu. (48 lbs.) 75?.. BUCKWHEAT. Buckwheat should be sown about the middle of June, broadcast, at the rate of from one to three peeks per acre. The average yield is from twenty-five to thirty bushels per acre. It should be threshed as soon as dry. If allowed to stand in mass it quickly gathers moisture, therefore due attention should be given to handling it promptly. Japanese—Peck 35?, bu. $ Silver Hull-Peck 35?, bu. $ Common—Peck 30?, BROOM CORN SEED. Missouri Evergreen—A favorite in Kansas, Ne- braska, and Missouri. Grows to be a good length, and if cut at the proper time has good color. Feck 35?, bu.
