Church of Sant Feliu or Sant Felix in Gerona, Catalonia, Spain
The church of San Félix or Sant Feliu located in the city of Gerona, originally from the early days of Christianity. It houses the offices of the Sant Feliu Mayor Parish of the Bishopric of Gerona, so named because this was the main temple in Gerona before the construction of the cathedral. Its construction, in honor of the martyr Saint Felix, lasted from the 12th to the 17th century and preserves a good part of the Romanesque building, later completed with the Gothic naves and roofs and the Baroque façade. The main attraction is made up of eight extraordinary Roman and early Christian sarcophagi from the 3rd and 4th centuries, found when the church was built, together with the Gothic tomb of San Narciso.
