Gumdrop, Apollo 9 Command Module, 1969
The Apollo 9 Command/Service Modules photographed from the Lunar Module, "Spider". The CSM Docking mechanism is visible in nose of the Command Module, "Gumdrop". The high-gain S-Band antenna can be seen towards the back of the service module. Astronauts, Russell Schweickart and Jim McDivitt took the photograph from the Lunar Module. Astronaut Dave Scott was present in the Command Module.
