In the foreground is the Vickers Viscount 814 turboprop airliner of the German airline, Deutsche Lufthansa; registration, D-ANEF. The aircraft is decorated in its original livery. This aircraft was in service with Lufthansa from March 1959 until 20 January 1972, when it was purchased by Airwork Services Ltd. Eight days later, the aircraft was damaged beyond repair during the delivery flight, after it made a heavy landing at Hurn Airport, Bournemouth, England. An airport worker is driving a MIAG Plattenwagen vehicle.
