He is a member of the Union League Club, and of all Masonicbodies, besides being an Eagle and a Druid. He has a ranch of 1,700 acres in SonomaCounty, where he makes a specialty of raising thoroughbred live stock, and he is known as agreat dog fancier, owning a number of blue ribbon winners of several breeds.
