Beijing Olympic 2008 Mascot Tiananman Square China


The official logo of the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing titled "Dancing Beijing," features a stylized calligraphic character jīng (capital), referencing the host city. The mascots of Beijing 2008 are the five Fuwa, each representing one color of the Olympic rings. The fuwa are Bei-Bei A Fish; Jing-Jing A Panda; Huan-Huan Saint Fire for the Games; Ying-Ying A Tibetan Antelope; Ni-Ni A Swallow. The Olympic slogan, One World, One Dream, calls upon the world to unite in the Olympic spirit. Athletes will compete in 302 events in 28 sports.
