Cannon at Fort Moultrie, Sullivan's Island, SC. The fort was used by the Confederates to bombard Fort Sumter in Charleston Harbor to begin the American Civil War. The fort previously played an important role in defeating the British during a battle for Charleston in the American Revolutionary War.
