The tree bee. Invasive non-native species. INNS. Tree bumblebee. (Bombus hypnorum) occupying a blue tit nesting box.
These tree bumblebees first appeared in the new forest 12 years ago, now; 2014 they have spread as far North as Scotland. This is the fist time I have sen them in Lincolnshire and there are three nest boxes taken over like this in gardens quite close to me in Grimsby.
