G-AYUB is a Robin DR253B of which there are only 5 examples on the British register. It was built in France in 1971 and its serial number is 185. These wood and fabric aircraft with the familiar cranked wing are particularly suited to flying off short grass strips. The aircraft has a 180hp Lycoming 0-360-A2A engine with a variable pitch propeller and has flown a total of 1925hrs since new.
