The boiler is set in a separatebuilding as a part of the university battery. As a rule, I wouldput the boiler in a special building near the base of the stack. There are three respects wherein these plans could be im-proved, which 1 feel it my duty to point out. 1. The forging-shop, which is the noisiest shop in all, is rathertoo near the schoolrooms.
