It is not to be wondered at that men who in boyhood hadbeen punished by their fathers for shooting their game any-where except in the head should soon become the terror oftheir foes, or that they should be spoken of in the British campas shirt-tail men, with their cursed twisted guns, the mostfatal widow-and-orphan makers in the world.
