Edinburgh, Scotland. Wed 27 April 2022. Singer-songwriter Kristin Hersh performs at Summerhall as part of a UK tour supporting the release of the latest 50FOOTWAVE album ‘Black Pearl’. She was joined onstage by Fred Abong (bass player from Throwing Muses) and Rob Ahlers (drums). Kristin Hersh has released over 20 records as a solo artist and with acclaimed groups Throwing Muses and 50FOOTWAVE. She’s also the author of an acclaimed memoir “Rat Girl” (USA title) / “Paradoxical Undressing” (UK title) and “Don't Suck, Don't Die” about her relationship with singer-songwriter Vic Chesnutt.
