Silversmith Solomon Mejia, 73, holds a necklace, designed by the late William Spratling in his silver jewelry store in Taxco, Mexico's silver capital, August 22, 2007. Mejia began learning to make silver jewelry at age 10. Spratling, from the US, put Taxco on the map with his shop's designs in the 1930's which is known as Spratling Silver.
