ARABIAN GULF (NOV. 12, 2017) Operations Specialist 2nd Class Olivia Arellano, assigned to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), mans a radar station on the ship’s bridge during a mock strait transit. Pearl Harbor is deployed in the 5th Fleet area of operations in support of maritime security operations designed to reassure allies and partners, and preserve the freedom of navigations and the free flow of commerce in the region.
