Ears aver- aging from 8 to 10 inches in length and evenly filled out, kernels of good depth and pure white, maturing in about 100 days. Peck, 90c; bu., $ Champion White Pearl. A pure white early corn, maturing" in 90 to 100 days. Very prolific; the grain is long and wide, two of which will span the cob. The cobs are unusually small1 for the size of the corn, and are almost all white. The ears are medium-sized 16- ro'wed, and can be planted much thicker than a large corn and yet bear full-sized ears. Makes splendid meal, and is very largely grown for that purpose. Peck, 90c; bu., $ Iowa Silver Mine. Matures in about 100 days in the Illinois corn belt. The stalks grow to a height of 7 or 8 feet and set the ears about 3% to 4 feet from the ground. The ears measure from 10 to 12 inches in length, and often weigh IV2 pounds. They are uniform in size and shape, with 16 to 20 straight rows of deep, pure white kernels on a very small cob. Pk., 80c; bu., $ SEED POP CORN—See Page 16. Southern Millet FLINT VARIETIES Yellow Flint (Longfellow). The most popular of all flint varieties. It is a beautiful eight-rowed yellow flint, with slen- der, straight ears, 10 to 15 inches long. Kernels are large and wide, and cob very s»mall. Ripens in 75 to 85 days, and very prolific. Well adapted to the northern states and largely grown in northern Wisconsin and Minnesota.
