T, D. meeting. The Fleischman Floral Co. has re- moved the composition flooring put down in its store some years ago, un- covering the mosaic floor originally used, which seems to be in as good con- dition as before. The Chicago Flower Growers' Asso- ciation offered a cash prize of $100 for the best F. T. D. window decoration in the competition which is being held at Buffalo during the F. T. D. convention this week. President G. C. Weiland, Manager Paul Klingsporn and Director Clarence Ellsworth Went to Buffalo to help swell the crowd and the interest to the meeting. The Flower Growers' As- sociation will hold its quarterly meet- ing of directors October 21. A. Miller is suffering from rheuma- tism, contracted in Japan. He is con- fined to his home. G. M. Eeburn has returned from a fortnight ^8 business trip in Kentucky. C. J. Michelsen, accompanied by Henry Wehrmann and H. Luedtke, of Maywood, drove his Packard to Union Grove and Milwaukee last week. Mr. Michelsen was greatly pleased with the appearance of Bichard Balm's place at Union Grove. Joseph Marks has returned from a two weeks' southern trip in the inter- est of A, Henderson & Co. Talk about snaps, Arthur Weather- wax had it. He was offered a job as an extra usher at White Sox park and saw all the World's Series games while the other folks at the store made fu- neral designs.
