It is eleven miles southeast of Eistherville, and twelvemiles southwest of Armstrong. Tuttle Lake is twelve miles northeast,Mud and High, Lakes two miles southwest. A township road crosses theoutlet, and other township roads touch it on the south side so that allparts of it are easily reached. The lake is a pleasing body of open water from six to eight feet indepth. The banks are sharp and in many places covered with natural timber,except at the southwest where the drainage from Mud Lake enters. Herethe creek enters through a big marsh that extends back nearly to theother lake. Aside from, this marsh, there is very little wet land thatdrains into Swan Lake. SIKVKY OF IIKillWAV COMMISSION 77.
