Mrs. Beaman had three children, all ofwhom were born in Meredith Bridge, nowLaconia, namely: George Otis, who diedJune 16, 1895, aged years; Emma J.,wife of Frank J. Osgood, residing in Laconia;and Edward ¥., who was associated in busi-ness with his father for a number of years. He was a member ofWinnipiseogee Lodge, No. 7, I. O. O. F., ofLaconia, joining six months after its organiza-tion, and also of the Congregational church, inwhich he held the office of Deacon.
