These data, shown in Figure 7, yield a slope (growth rate) by a least squares calculation of millimeters per dayâa very close agreement with millimeters per day. Corrections for growth of the small bluegills into the range of sizes taken by the seine were made on the basis of a minimum size of 85 milli- meters fork length at Period 4.
