An honorary presentation gift, of merit to the German Apothecaries' Guild A lidded urn of white, glazed porcelain. The obverse side shows an eagle in relief with the pharmaceutical shield and life rune with the inscription "Ehrengabe" above it. The round base bears the inscription scroll in relief, "Für Verdienste um die deutsche Apotekerschaft" (For merit to the German Apothecaries' Guild). Domed lid with the anniversary dates "1240 -1940." On the bottom the manufacturer's mark for the Schierholz porcelain manufacturer, Plaue, in underglaze green. Height 25 cm,
