Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx) lower jaw. Left and right lynx mandible with complete dentition. Some radio carbon dates on lynx bones suggest that this animal was part of the fauna of Britain only when suitable woodland habitat was available. The Lynx lynx species is the largest of the four extant species today and differs from the other three by feeding primarily on small ungulates.
