Extra fancy blooms are held at $3 per dozen, but these are as yet quite limited. On the lower grades, though, the market is in splendid shape this season, with the great bulk of them to come yet. A great deal more white than yellow are in this market. California violets are coming better each day, with prices ranging from 25 to 35 cents per hundred. Easter lilies, too, were more plentiful than during the previous week, with the price clinging to $ per hundred. Carnations are as abundant as ever; that is, of the short-stemmed grades. Nearly all the outdoor stock is about over. The mar- ket has a big supply of greens. Various Notes. Miss Hale, formerly with the Ellison Floral Co., and later with Ed Loyet, opened a store at Page and Kings High- way October 26, to be known as the Kings Highway Floral Co. This makes her a close neighbor to Otto Sander, Fred Foster and Ed Loyet. The Eetail Florists' Association held its regular monthly meeting October 21, at the Washington hotel, transacting •a great deal of business. The enter- tainment committee has decided on a banquet for next month, at this hotel. President C. C. Sanders presided, with all the other officers present. The lack of interest by some of the members has caused talk of disbanding the associa- tion, but those who
