An Afghan gold-inlaid tulwar, 19th century, Robust single-edged blade with fullers on both sides, decorated with gold-inlaid floral cartouches, double-edged point. The root on the obverse with gold-damascened triple calligraphic cartouche. Iron, partially gold-damascened grip with silver eyelet on the pommel. The leather covered wooden scabbard with ornamentally embossed silver mountings. Length cm.
